Stashbusting butterflys?

Don't look too carefully at this weeks star! The points are not so perfect on this one. Oh well, its pretty and I used some of the pretty fabric that Bernadette gave me too.

Not much else to show, because I finished sewing for 2 of my swaps and I am pretty pleased with the projects!

I've been thinking of what next, after my redwork quilt is finished. I'm keen to cut down my stash, so what do you think of the Butterfly Collector by Lynette Anderson designs? Buttonhole stitch applique is not my favorite, but I do love these pinwheel blocks.

That butterfly quilt is breathtaking - but what a lot of work! That would be a fab heirloom to pass on though ... (you can tell I'm not a quilter, I'm going faint at the thought of all those pinwheels!)
