Bag Swap has landed in USA!

My bag for Linda's Bag/Bucket Swap has arrived at Ruth's place in the USA!

My first go at batik fabrics and raw edge applique. My design with applique and embroidered butterflys, and the front and back slightly different. A flower pin on the front. Thanks Linda for organising this swap. Bag are just my favorite thing to make!

My bag swap has arrived from Italy too, but my swapper is still secret. Please, please secret swapper can you let me know who you are so I can post a pic and say THANK YOU!

That's a gorgeous bag. I love batik prints, and think you've used them brilliantly. x

Your bag is fantastic - especially as you were out of your comfort zone using the batiks!

Rachel it looks great! It must be harder making something in a fabric style that you're not really used to! Well done!

Rachel the bag is just gorgeous, good for you for trying something ouside your comfort zone. As for the one from Italy, your partner from my swap wasn't from Italy. Maybe it's for the Stitchers Angel swap....

What a great bag! I'm sure your partner must love it. I haven't used batiks a lot but love what you've done with them.
