I thought I would show you something a bit different for Show and Tell today. This is my first and only go at wool embroidery, a little cot blanket made for Callum about 8 years ago when I was pregnant. It's looking its age a bit now, but I can remember how happy I was making it. xx Rachel

Hi Rach,
I love reading your blog and checking out all the wonderful things you make! Very inspiring! I have completed 4 patches in patchwork class and they are all turning out ok! So the motivation is still running high, I even have my eyes on my next project!
Cheers

It's delightful!
It's really beautiful, gorgeous work.
it is such a beautiful blanket Rachel! How ironic, I have only wool embroidered once too and that was for Isobel and she was born 9 years ago!!
Your embroidery just has to be some of the best on the web. That's lovely. x
That's a really lovely piece of embroidery Rachel - you are so talented! Lucy x

Such a wonderful thing to make for your baby - the teddy looks all chubby and happy (how teddy's should be) is he stuffed a little bit?
This is adorable Rachel. I really do love all the work I see here. I can not find your email but must let you know I received my package from AU yesterday (it took 5 weeks!) and I LOVE what you sent. My hubby and I were just amazaed at the hand stitching and fabulous workmanship all around. You really did outdo yourself--I could not be happier with it! Will post pics on my blog later today. THANKS VERY MUCH!! xo
