With the heat I haven't been able to applique very quickly at all, but I've finished the first border side and made a start on the second. I'm joining the appliqued borders once they are complete.I've got a couple of friends with babies due in July so I thought it might be nice to design a baby quilt for little boys. Another scrappy project!

cute!!!
As always your posts are a delight to read. I must have missed a few over the last month. The new quilts are very fresh, I am sure they will be appreciated.
Oh wow - I love it. It's going to be fabulous. x
Ohh that is so cute and I love the colours. Don't blame you for being a tad slow with the applique.....it's far to hot to be doing anything of late.
Love the scrappy boats !
Those boats are really lovely - anything to do with the sea makes me smile and the spotty sails are fab. It's sooo cold here. My mum and dad are in Melbourne so I know how hot it is over there! Not surprised appliqueing is a little hard work with 45 degrees to contend with
So CUTE!!! With the heat you've been having I'd be thinking about water too and the little sailboats are perfect.
Those are so cute! and perfect for a little boy. I will gladly trade our snow for your heat...
Oh lovely!!!! Can't wait to see the finished product! Lucy x
