$2.50 at the Op Shop

Maya and I found this skirt at the op shop a few weeks ago, when we were trying to track down a book for Ayden. It was a ladies large with side splits and a drawstring waist. Never worn, a popular surf brand and I liked the trim along the bottom.

A bit of unpicking last night, a bit of sewing this lunchtime, and an inexpensive little skirt for Maya. And I must get her out of this outfit before she freezes!

Looks fab, Rachel - and yes I think she should be some warmer clothing on! It's freezing here!

I love finding gorgeous fabric at the charity shop. I usually go for sheets & pilloowcases but I should start looking at the clothes too, I see!

Can't wait to see!

What a great re-use of a op-shop buy. I am amazed at all the goodness that our op-shops have to offer. Happy days.

Your dollhouse looks great. I painted up a similar one earlier this year, but with a blue roof.

Cute skirt and what a bargain... know what you mean about getting her out of it...if it has been as cold where you are as here in Melbourne...on a recent visit to my niece, she was waltzing around the house in her bathers...they are about to go to Port Douglas and she is getting prepared!!!
