El Cheapo the overlocker arrived on Monday, after a bid on ebay, then a second chance offer. He was very cheap but he hasn't made it out of the box yet. Must give him a go.
Must also get on quilting this quilt top, finally finished a week ago for Maya.

overlockers do scare me a bit - all that thread. He is a mighty fine looking fellow for being el cheapo though.

Beauty of a quilt! You will have to let us know how it goes with the new machine.
Maya's quilt is lovely. I bet she will be very happy when it is finished. And... El Cheapo will wait. Mine is calling me though. I don't use it very often but when I do I am soooo grateful I have one.
Good luck with El Cheapo... they are so great!! But I actually sold mine recently.. pretty stupid... but the poor one had been in my cupboard for more than 10 years... so someone else needed it more than me... so she is the happy one now..:o))
