A bit of retail therapy (with free postage) to help me on the trip to Melbourne this week, and a book from the library for inspiration. Check the size of the 200 gram balls of wool. Whoppers!I'm rachelmp on Ravelry, but I am just new to it. I think I surprised a few people that I knew how to knit :)

You can do EVERYTHING, Rachel! The wool looks gorgeous and I'm sure your little poppet will be lovely and warm in her new winter woolly.
I've taken up Knitting again after many years...I have a little one to knit for again...it's very Relaxing and Satisfying...Enjoy.!
I am on ravelry too...
cheers
When I knitted it was always with Bendigo Woollen mill wool. Now they are online I have to keep away. Love the wool just don't have time to knit with everything else I am doing at the moment.
I laughed when I first saw that photo Rachel because it initially looked like Maya in the background - now those would be MASSIVE balls of wool then!
