Sailboat Skirts ~ Oliver + S

With the beautiful weather it's hard to get Maya to stop for a photo. When the Sailboat Skirt came out today I managed to grab a few quick pics.

The Sailboat pattern is another easy one from Oliver + S and the pattern includes a top, skirt and cropped pants. It is available as an instant download.  The skirt was a quick and addictive sew and something sweet and simple for Maya's summer wardrobe.  The top of the skirt has a sailor style buttons and is lined in a cute quilters cotton.  There is an elasticated back waist and a kick pleat for ease of movement.

I love white for Summer and made a second skirt for Maya.  This one has press stud closures - thanks Karen!  Maya says that she feels like a lady pilot in these skirts,  but I think she may mean an air hostess.

The sailboat skirts are both made in a size 7 with drill fabric.  The pattern goes up to size 8 and I can see a few more versions coming from this pattern before Maya grows out of it.

Super Cute. She looks like a young lady in the skirts.

Gorgeous! She looks very grown up in those skirts, especially the white one.

Great Pattern. I have made the pants in the past, but this skirt is adorable. Nice work!

Love the skirts! I've made the pants several times but have yet to do the skirt.
